BNP Paribas, a Platinum partner of international IT-conference VivaTech
This year, BNP Paribas will parade under the flags of “Digital Transformation and New Customer Experience” and “Positive impact” at the VivaTech fair. The Group is a platinum partner of VivaTech, an international IT- conference, which is planned to visit more than 80,000 participants. The event brings together the experience of world leaders and innovative startup ideas from around the world.
Within three days, the laboratory will be divided into five main areas for presenting the latest innovation projects and initiatives. About thirty projects will highlight the following topics:
- mobile banking (Hello Bank, augmented reality, and more);
- new customer journey (Personetics, Mimesys Holoportation, LyfPay, and more);
- artificial intelligence (Nickel, Gambit, DreamQuark, and more);
- blockchain (My collat, Planet Funds, and more).
From May 24 to May 26, BNP Paribas Group will welcome the participants at its Open Innovation Lab branded “Positive Banking”, an eco-responsible space of 550 m2.
With the participation of the BNP Paribas Group and the General Director of Viva Technology, a discussion panel will be held on: “How will our digital transformation enable us to reinvent the customer experience, notably in collaboration with FinTechs?”. As for positive impact, the Group will be hosting about a dozen startups with which it is working to bring about a fairer, more sustainable society, around issues such as energy transition, social entrepreneurship and education, to name a few.

On Saturday, the BNP Paribas Lab will also host a conference on Africa Tech together with many different startups. Also not to be missed is the major conference on Girl Power and women entrepreneurship, which will take place on the VivaTech main stage. Among the lineup of inspiring women who will be present for this event is Marie-Claire Capobianco, Head of French Retail Banking at BNP Paribas.
