“Dream career”, UKRSIBBANK will tell students about modern banking professions

UKRSIBBANK BNP Paribas Group supported the educational project “Map of professions” of the Center “Development of CSR”, which helps schoolchildren, understand the variety of specialties and make an informed choice of profession in the future.

UKRSIBBANK told how many specialists of completely different areas work in the financial sphere, the opportunities for developing a successful career are given by an international bank and what skills and knowledge it needs to develop. This information is already in the booklet, which schoolchildren of grades 5-10 will receive in special classes provided for under the project “Map of professions” and on the website CareerHub. Now 100 schools from all over Ukraine have already joined the project.

“The bank can be compared to a spaceship, where many different experts work. At the same time, they are all equally important. Our employees are the main asset of the bank, that’s why we create conditions for better realization of each of them: it is a comfortable working space and the opportunity for career development, including mobility within the company, — said Natalia Halunko, Head of Human Resources Management Department of UKRSIBBANK BNP Paribas Group. Galunko. — However, we invite to work not only experts, but also yesterday’s graduates of universities. Moreover, we are looking to the future and today we are encouraging schoolchildren — a generation that most appreciates technology, mobility and constant development, choose a career in the world of finance”.

For almost 10 years, the bank has been running the “Stars at Start” program, according to which talented graduates of different specialties: both exact sciences and humanities can pass a paid internship in an international company, and in the future receive their first permanent job.

“Different specialists are needed at all stages of the bank’s work: they are not only financiers and economists, but also lawyers, IT specialists, marketers, designers, HR, event managers. This list can be continued for a long time, — said Volodymyr Radin, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board, Personal Finance Director of the UKRSIBBANK BNP Paribas Group. — At the same time, UKRSIBBANK creates good conditions for the development of the already existing talents and abilities of each individual and helps to unlock potential and acquire new skills.”
