In a changing world, every child is a superhero: start of the UKRSIBBANK campaign in support of children with Down syndrome

From August 25 to November 25, 2020 – within three months UKRSIBBANK BNP Paribas Group, together with its clients, will raise funds for the implementation of effective programs for the creative development of children with special educational needs, which will contribute to the development, help children with Down syndrome unleash their creativity and achieve personal heights. For 11 years in a row, the bank has been implementing the Silver Coin project with the All-Ukrainian Charity Organization “Down Syndrome”.

This year, the Silver Coin support campaign for children with Down syndrome was launched with the main idea – “In a changing world, every child is a superhero!”. Anyone can support the initiative by making a cash “deposit” in special boxes in any of 249 UKRSIBBANK branches or use the QR code and transfer non-cash funds to All-Ukrainian Charity Organization “Down Syndrome” account.

“For more than a decade, we have been accompanying children with Down syndrome at all stages of their adulthood, and this year we want to develop the strengths of these children, because each superhero has his own “superpower ” — and the sooner we discover it, the more we can help the child find his talents, apply them and boldly plan an adult life, — said Yanina Olkhovska, Director of Communications, CSR and Engagement, Chairman of the UKRSIBBANK BNP Paribas Group Charitable Foundation. — “The Silver Coin project is an important component in the development of corporate social responsibility of UKRSIBBANK, and together with our partners, clients and colleagues, we will continue to make every effort to improve the quality of life of children with Down syndrome.”
