POPCORP: UKRSIBBANK and Radar Tech held a presentation of ideas for the corporate accelerator

Last week was held the first open presentation of candidate projects for participation in the corporate accelerator POPCORP, organized by UKRSIBBANK BNP Paribas Group and RadarTech.

12 teams-participants had 3 minutes for a short presentation of the idea and 3 minutes for questions from the jury. As a result, one of the submitted projects has already entered into 30 of the most innovative ideas of the accelerator, that is, immediately gone to the semifinals. POPCORP’s accelerator development priorities include solutions for financial products and services, digital banking, the bank’s infrastructure, the creation of comfortable workplace conditions and any other solutions that can be applied in the work of the financial structure.

“Today we held the first open event within the framework of PopCorp and it was especially interesting to know what participants and ideas would be. As a result, we have already selected one of the startups as pre-settlers. This project is Migranza, which works with migrants and deals with the problem of transferring money. Such a question is especially relevant for the work between UKRSIBBANK and the Polish BGZ BNP Paribas. There were also two ideas that are no longer startups and we will meet separately for a joint solution outside the accelerator: “Liga:Zakon” and BNesis,” — said Konstantyn Lezhnin, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board on Retail Banking, one of the experts of POPCORP Pitch Night.

In general, experts from various sectors of the UKRSIBBANK BNP Paribas Group were: Konstantyn Lezhnin, Deputy Chairman of the Retail Banking Board, Vladimir Radin, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board on Retail Banking, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board – IT Director Zagorulko Sergiy, Head of the Sales Support Alternative channels Development Department Savchuk Nataliya, Head of Anti-Money Laundering and Terrorism Financing Division Razumniy Anton, Head Talent Management Center and changes Frankiv Oksana and others.

Recall that in a month another similar event will take place, at which start-up teams will solve specific tasks that the bank will put before the participants.

Applications for participation in the POPCORP accelerator are accepted until June 24th — make a vortex of tremendous changes!
