UKRSIBBANK employees joined the Climate Ambition Accelerator program
For six months, employees of UKRSIBBANK BNP Paribas Group learned how to lay a clear path to transition to “net zero” by 2050 and reduce emissions into the atmosphere.
12 participating companies exchanged opinions and experiences in the field of environmental protection and climate change with colleagues from other companies in group sessions. Adopted the best practices of leading companies in achieving ambitious climate goals. They worked together to set scientifically based goals for reducing emissions and thereby achieve “net zero” by 2050.
The program consisted of three modules: basics, business cases and its implementation.

The Climate Ambition Accelerator is a six-month training program designed to help businesses make progress in setting science-based emissions targets for the 1.5°C initiative and create a clear path to net zero by 2050.
The Climate Ambition Accelerator builds on the work of the UN Global Compact to develop and promote the Science Based Targets initiative, its new net zero standard, and the Business Ambition for 1.5°C and Race to Zero campaigns. In addition, this program complements initiatives of the UN Global Compact on Environmental Sustainability, such as the Sustainable Ocean Business Action Platform and the Water Resilience Coalition.
