Each year, Mastercard recognizes banks in Ukraine for excellence as part of its Mastercard Day event. Leading Ukrainian edition Forbes in a joint collaboration with Mastercard reached out to bankers to ask them what they were into during this extraordinary year and what should we expect in the country’s financial market in 2021.

UKRSIBBANK BNP Paribas Group, recognized as the best Premium Banking service in Ukraine for the sixth consecutive year according to Mastercard, was awarded for ART OF PREMIUM BANKING.

It took nearly six years for UKRSIBBANK to successfully build premium banking. Today, UKRSIBBANK’s premium segment operates a network of 130 outlets nationwide and offers its customers tailor-made services and expert advice of experienced managers on various financial issues. With the bank, customers can also book meeting rooms for personal needs immediately in outlets nationwide, enjoy free cash withdrawal abroad and attend private events.

Even though UKRSIBBANK activities have been affected by the lockdown, the team responded to such changes flexibly and quickly. The bank has made every effort to provide convenient and fast remote service, launched personal chat communication with manager and enabled all financial transactions to be carried out remotely. Now, premium customers can take test for COVID-19 immediately at Boryspil, as well as have an updated travel insurance with extended coverage in case of coronavirus.

Kostiantyn Lezhnin, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board for Retail Banking at UKRSIBBANK BNP Paribas Group «Today, for premium segment, we intend to develop family banking. Though this area is very popular globally, in Ukraine we will be the first to launch family accounts. To make it easier to manage joint finances, we are going to offer to issue payment cards for children and to enjoy common travel privileges. As early as this year, a millennial-oriented solution by the Swedish start up Dreams will be made available to our customers, which will allow them to save up effectively and to better navigate their financial capabilities».
