The Chestnut Run: UKRSIBBANK employees and customers join hands for small hearts

250 employees and customers of the UKRSIBBANK BNP Paribas Group took part in the annual charity project “Chestnut Run”.

On Kyiv Day, a gathering of participants from the bank took place on Maidan Nezalezhnosti near the UKRSIBBANK branch. Among 18 thousand people, the bank’s team was distinguished by a bright corporate style and incredible cohesion, because the captain was headed by Philippe Dumel, Chairman of the Board of UKRSIBBANK BNP Paribas Group.

For the sixth year, the bank has been maintaining the tradition of celebrating the city’s day — to run for the life and save children with heart defects. Funds collected under the project are directed to the purchase of the necessary equipment and consumables for the Center for Pediatric Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.

“Society is transforming. And each of us is involved in positive changes — we inspire by our own example, — said Yanina Olkhovska, Head of the Brand and Communications Service, Chairman of the UKRSIBBANK Charity Fund BNP Paribas Group. — For the first time, the bank joined the charity initiative in 2014, and every year the number of participants increased. We are proud that our customers take an active part in the life of the bank, they share the values that the BNP Paribas Group brings to the world for the future”.

Note that all in the program “Chestnut Run” there were 7 runs: a walker run, a children’s run, a sports run, a courageous run, a blind run, a run with a dog, and a charity run.
