UKRSIBBANK BNP Paribas Group Chooses Viber to Communicate with its Customers

UKRSIBBANK BNP Paribas Group is always committed to providing the smoothest user experience to its customers. This is the reason why the bank has chosen Viber Business Messaging by GMS as one of its main communication channels.

In 2020, UKRSIBBANK sent

75.5 millions
of Viber messages to its customers. This is the safe and secure way to inform about account transactions, the Bank’s important news, events, offers and deals.

The efficiency of communications via Viber is demonstrated by the level of customers’ engagement with messages, which is 22% higher as compared to other external communication channels. Viber messaging also allowed the bank to reduce customer information costs by more than twice, thus, enabling more efficient communication budget management.

“In its communications, UKRSIBBANK is committed to getting closer to its customers while ensuring data security. This is the reason why we choose user-friendly and reliable communication channels”, notes Kostyantyn Lezhnin, Deputy Chairman at UKRSIBBANK BNP Paribas Group.

According to Kantar, as of March 2020, Viber ranks among the ТОР-3 Ukraine’s most popular messaging apps and is installed on 97.9% smartphones of Ukrainian users. Its key benefits include ease of use and user-friendliness, as well as high privacy level as all messages are secured by end-to-end encryption by default.

“Viber offers a high security level which allows brands to send the most secured messages to their customers via business messaging channel. End-to-end encryption covers all messages in transit sent by the brands. Our server connections use the HTTPS protocol and only work through a limited white list of IP-addresses rather than via domain. Finally, for the purposes of privacy, our push-notifications don’t display the message content when the device is locked”, commented Noa Bar Shay, the Senior Partnerships Account Director at Rakuten Viber.
