UKRSIBBANK confirms uaAAA national rating

In May the Expert Rating Agency ranked UKRSIBBANK BNP Paribas Group to the uaAAA level on the national Ukrainian scale. The rating highlights UKRSIBBANK’s highest creditworthiness compared to other Ukrainian financial institutions. The ranking is based on 2021 financial results and 2022 January-April reports data.

According to the statement of the Expert Rating Agency, in May 2022 UKRSIBBANK has sufficient amount of regulatory and fixed capital, given the relevant standards of the bank that have well gone beyond the limits set by the NBU. UKRSIBBANK’s profit in 2021 totaled to UAH 1.480 billion, which is by 12.8% compared to 2020. The key factors of the financial result growth are the increase of the bank’s net interest income by 13.15% to UAH 3.727 billion, and rise of net commission income by 11.54% to UAH 1.903 billion.

In addition, the Agency points out to the consistently generated significant profits over the last eight quarters, that confirms its operational efficiency. The Agency also reminds UKRSIBBANK has an unprecedented level of external support from its shareholders: BNP Paribas and the EBRD.
