UKRSIBBANK launches accelerator together with Radar Tech

UKRSIBBANK BNP Paribas Group together with Radar Tech Fintech will cooperate with new companies through a special corporate accelerator — accelerator.

At the end of March, we started accepting applications. Representatives of various business directions of the bank are invited to select participants, they will also be members of the election commission, and further accompany projects as mentors. The final will get 10 startups who will work in training and experimental conditions to test their ideas. The bank will help experts, they will have a unique opportunity not only to modernize the banking system, but also to plunge into all the subtleties of the processes: online security, automation and simplification of algorithms, global database, staff involvement.

“For a bank, an accelerator is an excellent opportunity to prove its ability to change, for start-ups — a good opportunity to cooperate with an international company, adapting its product to the needs of not only local businesses, — said Konstantin Lezhnin, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board on Retail Banking of UKRSIBBANK BNP Paribas Group. — We are convinced that thanks to the accelerator we will be able to find many valuable ideas and outstanding projects. Talented entrepreneurs deserve that their ideas have the opportunity to create a bank of the future.”

We would like to remind that UKRSIBBANK BNP Paribas Group is not the first to hold such events. Last year we launched a large-scale project “The Time to Grow a Horn” — an all-Ukrainian series of startup battles organized for Ukrainian IT and financial companies.

This time, focusing on the needs of customers, we are looking for not only classic fintech start-ups, but also plan to cover all the activities and technologies of the bank as a large-scale corporation.
