UKRSIBBANK hosted Audit Champ 2022

For young and talented auditors UKRSIBBANK BNP Paribas Group held Audit Champ, after which the best participants were able to receive a job offer to the Internal Audit Department.

About 30 participants joined the event, among them both students of various higher educational institutions in Ukraine and those who have already graduated. During three intense hours, the participants worked in teams on tasks prepared for them by professionals from the world of auditing from UKRSIBBANK. In the end, a Kahoot quiz was held, the winners of which received gifts.

In addition to teamwork, bank representatives told the listeners about the secrets of audit work, which cannot be read in any textbook. In particular, about the role and functions of internal audit in an international bank, the areas it covers and its independence in the organisation’s structure. We talked separately about what are the main and additional duties of an auditor and what key skills need to be developed to become an auditor.

Audit Champ 2022 is a comprehensive program where, in addition to gaining useful knowledge, participants passed tests, had conversations with bank employees, and the most effective of them received job offers.

For many years in a row, UKRSIBBANK has been running programs for students, the purpose of which is to develop talented young people and involve them in the development of the Ukrainian banking sector. Most of the “stars” remain in the Bank, and many of them quickly enter the talent development program and make a career in UKRSIBBANK or in other countries of the BNP Paribas Group. Among the former “stars” are those who today work in Paris, Hong Kong, Lisbon, and Warsaw. In 2021, the Bank received the certification of “Youth-friendly Employer” within the framework of the “Pact for Youth – 2025” initiative and the “Dream and Act” program.
