UKRSIBBANK top managers planted acacias and junipers in Vinnitsa

Top managers of the UKRSIBBANK BNP Paribas Group, headed by the Chairman of the Management Board of the Bank, Philippe Dumel, supported by the city mayor’s office, planted 5 acacias and 18 junipers along the road and near a public transport stop near one of the bank’s offices in Vinnytsia.

UKRSIBBANK’s top managers are part of the BNP Paribas Group, which is committed to counteracting climate change throughout the world, and, as an active participant in the local community, supported the idea of planting trees and bushes in Vinnitsa.

By the way, planting trees by the bank is already becoming a good tradition. In September, top managers of the bank planted about a dozen trees in the «Samosad» metropolitan square, supporting the idea of the local community to turn a real wasteland into a green garden. Earlier, more than 100 of our employees planted 300 trees in 8 cities of Ukraine.

Recall that the fight against climate change is the highest priority for BNP Paribas as a global company that finances the energy sector. The bank promotes renewable energy sources, energy efficiency, sustainable mobility and the benefits of a «circular» economy among customers and partners. The Group also supports scientists and a number of important studies, such as oceanic reef ecosystems, the Antarctic microflora, the importance of forest flora.
