Deposit Guarantee Fund
UKRSIBBANK acts in the capacity of the reliable partner for depositors. The Bank participation in the Deposit Guarantee Fund that carries out the functions of State regulation in the area of guaranteeing the individuals’ deposits ensures additional reliability additional of the deposits.
What does the Deposit Guarantee Fund provide to the depositor?
The Deposit Guarantee Fund is a State Institution, which in case of a bank liquidation guarantees each depositor the repayment of deposited funds.
- The Fund has been established in execution of Order of the President of Ukraine №996/98 dated 10 September 1998, and operating on the basis of principles set forth by the Law of Ukraine “On the system of individuals’ deposits guarantee” № 4452-VI dated 23 February 2012 as amended, the updated version of which you may find at the official website of Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine in the Section “Legislation of Ukraine”.
UKRSIBBANK is a participant of the Deposit Guarantee Fund and has a respective Certificate under the Number 86 dated 02 November 2012.
Maximum amount of funds to be reimbursed under the deposits.
Within the duration of martial law in Ukraine and three months as from the date thereof termination or cancellation the Deposit Guarantee Fund shall reimburse each depositor of the Bank the funds in the full amount of the deposit, including the interest accrued as at the end of the day preceding the date of commencing the procedure for removing the bank from the market, except for cases provided for by the Section 4, Article 26 of the Law of Ukraine «On the system of the individuals deposits guarantee».
Upon the three-month period expiry as from the date of cancellation or termination of the martial law the maximum reimbursable amount of funds to depositors under all deposits at a single bank shall not exceed 600 thousand UAH, irrespective the number of deposits at the bank, and may be increased according to the Resolution of the Administrative Board of the Fund.
