Silver Coin: UKRSIBBANK for Equal Opportunities for Children with Down Syndrome

180 thousand UAH was collected by UKRSIBBANK BNP Paribas Group together with its customers for 10 weeks of the Silver Coin campaign, a joint initiative of the bank and the All-Ukrainian Charity Organization “Down Syndrome”.

The tenth project is aimed at improving the quality of life of children and youth with Down syndrome, which is consistent with the UN sustainable development goals. Together with its customers, the bank raises funds to create quality conditions for the pre-vocational training of young people with Down syndrome.

“The work of all life is the call of the heart, which often finds us through certain life circumstances in which we find ourselves, from which each of us cannot be insured. First, we listen to our intuition and go to the touch like in the dark, then we rely on someone’s experience, and then we examine what is happening in the world. – said Yanina Olkhovskaya, head of Brand and Communications, Chairman of the UKRSIBBANK BNP Paribas Group Charity Fund. – That’s why it is so important to disseminate successful experience in implementing the best conditions for people with special needs in the team. And thereby create equal opportunities for the disclosure of talents and professional realization of children with Down syndrome, who have already become adults and strive for independence”.

The purpose of the current Silver Coin is to develop methodologies and disseminate the best career guidance practices for people with Down Syndrome.
